Jesus said,

“If you love me, you will obey what I command.”
— John 14:15

One way to express our love for God is to obey His commandments. But how will we know what this commandments are? The answers are found in the Bible.

The Bible is a unique book, written over many centuries, by over 40 authors, and collected in 66 individual books. It includes history, poetry, prophecy, accounts of Jesus’ life, and personal letters. It was written in different languages, to people living in a different time, place and culture. Even so, it is without error and still reveals God and His plan to us today.

Therefore, we aim to study and teach the Bible, bridging the gap between then and now, to provide practical teaching that will help us develop our love for God and put our love for people into action. We have several opportunities to study the Bible together each week:

• Sunday Morning Worship
• Sunday Evening Worship
• Sunday Morning Bible Classes for all ages
• Awana Club for children
• Special events such as Parenting Classes and Marriage Enrichment Weeks

While the Bible is our ultimate guide and authority, the Southern Baptist Convention has published a small booklet, The Baptist Faith and Message, that summarizes some of our core beliefs and teachings.
